ROTARY DRYER

Summary

The HYG rotary dryer is a kind of drying equipment with higher capacity. It consists of a heat source, feeding device, rotary cylinder, driving device, discharger, and tail gas duster. This dryer has a big capacity and can be used in various situations.Fluid resistance is small, and the operation is wide and simple. The moisture of products can be less than 1 %.

Features

  1. High the motorization level of the barrel with a higher capacity
  2. Less resistance the material passes through the barrel, lower the power consumption.
  3. Strong adaptability to material characteristics
  4. Reliable operation, low operation costs, and high efficiency

Heat Source

Steam, electricity.hot air furnace or other industrial waste-heat and etc.

Heat Carrier

Hot air, fume etc

Scope Of Application

The most common applications are chemical, metallurgical, building materials, light industry and other industries. Applicable products include powder, granular, block, and paste materials mixed with dry materials. In the chemical industry, such as ammonium sulfate, alkali sulfide, ammonium nitrate, urea, oxalic acid, potassium dichromate, polyvinyl chloride, manganese dioxide, calcium carbonate, phosphate rock, ordinary superphosphate, double superphosphate, trisodium phosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate, etc.

Working Principle

The wet material to be dried is sent to the feed box of the HYG dryer by a screw conveyor and then enters the rotating drum, which is a slightly inclined cylinder. The material and the heat carrier are fully contacted in the drum through the action of the lifting plate. The contact mode depends on the characteristics of the material. As the drum rotates, the material moves to the lower end by gravity. During the movement, the wet material absorbs heat from the heat carrier, causing the water to evaporate and be dried. Then the material is discharged through the discharge box. The heat carrier absorbs water and is discharged from the drum as exhaust gas. The exhaust gas is discharged into the atmosphere through a dust removal device. The configuration combination is decided based on different requirements for the dust content of the exhaust gas. (If a lower dust content is required, the exhaust gas can be treated by a cyclone dust collector first, and then further treated by a pulse clean bag dust collector or a water curtain dust collector before discharge).
